This past summer I visited Nantou distillery in Central Taiwan. Not many have heard of them or their Omar whisky. The visit was a true revelation especially when I tried their whiskies aged in casks from their own winery. Ever heard of whiskies aged in Lychee Liqueur, Plum Liqueur, Orange Brandy or Black Queen Wine casks?
