Almost 4000 words on my WIP for Fandom Trumps hate! I promise 5K-10K, so I think I’m doing pretty good.

The Magnus Archives Offers for Fandom Trumps Hate

What is Fandom Trumps Hate?  Read about it here, on the @fandomtrumpshate FAQ page!

In short: "FTH is an online fanworks auction, designed to raise money for progressive nonprofit organizations that help and support marginalized people."

Boiled down (and missing all nuances): You donate directly to a non-profit and then a creator will gift you a work as a thank you for your donation!  (Definitely check out the FAQ page if you want to know more, though.)

There’s a bunch of us, including myself, offering to produce fanworks for The Magnus Archives! I’m including links here to everyone’s individual bidding pages and examples of their work, so please feel free to browse them if you like! I’ll probably reblog this a few times for visibility.

so, i don’t remember what q & a this came from, but at one point alex pointed out that cassette tapes are a mono medium, and that the tapes in magnus are in stereo, partially a nod to the fact that there’s something more to the tapes than what they seem and, i mean, fuller sound is always better.

after the world turns back, the audio we hear is in mono - i’m pretty sure. and i’m just. i’m fuckin shook by the sheer attention to detail the folks working on this podcast have.

and, above all else, the tapes are just tapes now.
