On the hillside outside of Omaezaki they grow leaves for green tea. Michael's wonderful Japanese family cooked a BBQ while we played with the kids. Tag, Hide and Seek, Rock Paper Scissors. The games all had Japanese names that I didn't know but we figured it out, it was the same games I played on the playground as a kid. The most incredible thing about traveling is you get to discover that people are, at the core, the same. Even though we look different and speak different languages, and can barely communicate, we can all play a game of tag, eat together, drink and laugh. It was a special night, with people I only just met but will never forget. #omeazaki #japan #greentea (at くれたけイン御前崎(Kuretake-inn Omaezaki))
