Conceal Me What I Am (Omegaverse AU | 18 chapters | Complete)

Brilliant, brilliant AU set during the Clone Wars where Obi-Wan is a high-flying (beta) Senator and Anakin is a popular (alpha) Jedi Knight. To help resolve growing suspicion towards the Jedi, the Chancellor proposes an arranged and very public marriage between a member of the senate and a Jedi. Obi-Wan and Anakin are of course chosen, being shiny and popular on the holonet (albeit fairly incompatible otherwise). Little do they know the Chancellor is purposefully setting them up for disaster as he knows the big secret - Obi-Wan is in fact an alpha! Anticipating the marriage will end in violence and subsequently destroy the Jedi’s standing in the Republic, what the Chancellor doesn’t know is that Anakin is also harbouring a secret designation: omega. 🤯

This work is STUNNING. It’s a slow burn in the best possible way; packed with feels, politics, so many beloved clone wars characters, omegaverse, humour, smut, whump, *costumes*, and so much more. It’s literally a novel. Like, it’s the actual full thing. Huge fav!

Let me be that I am (Omegaverse AU | 2 chapters | Continuing (hopefully!)

Set 1 year after the events of Conceal Me What I Am, this follow up gives a glimpse into Obi-Wan and Anakin’s lives now that their secrets are out & they are living as a mated pair in earnest. *Spoiler alert* Anakin unexpectedly gets preg - which immediately makes it my favourite type of fic. Plus the writing and details and smut are just as sublime as the first instalment in the series, so it’s really just the pinnacle for me. I really, REALLY hope there are more chapters in the future because this is the 𝓈𝓌𝑒𝑒𝓉 𝓈𝓅𝑜𝓉 🥲

Clone Wars era | 2 works | Continuing (I think) 

During a mission to infiltrate a slaver’s ring, Obi-Wan, acting as slaver, is forced to demonstrate how well Anakin, acting as slave, can take punishment. Unexpectedly, Anakin is able to take it very, very well indeed 👀💦

A very sexy lil series that gets added to approx. once a year. It’s non omegaverse/preg related (which makes it very off-brand for me oh la la) but just so bloody well written that I think anyone would enjoy regardless of their ~preferences. Literally, it focuses on spanking/public humiliation kink, which is not something I’ve ever really considered or been interested in per se, but I was SO on board with it during this fic. As always, hats off to the writer (particularly for work #2, you had me!). 

Oh, Where Do We Begin? / by ZenyZootSuit (Ao3)

Clone Wars era | 21 chapters | Continuing​

There’s so much included in this one (as you can tell by the chapter count!) and it’s all so brilliantly done. Set in an AU where Anakin is living with bipolar disorder and Obi-Wan battles with alcoholism, key events from the prequels and Clone Wars canon are incorporated throughout this odyssey (e.g., Attack of the Clones, Rako Hardeen arch, etc). This writer *loves* angst and drama, plus a healthy serve of whump, so be warned there are death scenes, tears, relapses, and battle injuries - but there is also lots of humour, feels, and truly impressive smut ❤️‍🔥 It’s not omegaverse but it does incorporate mpreg (which obvs is a huge tick for me) as well as a very dramatic birth. All the fav characters are in there too, Padmé, Ahsoka, Rex, the 501st, the 212nd... Big recommend!

Omegaverse canon-divergence | 2 chapters | Complete

The council calls in Obi-Wan to breaks some very unexpected news: Anakin is with child, and it’s his! But wait, it can’t be - they weren’t...? Ah, we love a force-willed pregnancy moment to spur on a relationship ❤️ 

This is a relatively short, very sublime gift fic that is *chef’s kiss* 3 Michelin star omegaverse smut 😙👌 I’m aware people have diff preferences when it comes to omegaverse ~anatomy, and this one does a great job of touching on everything a little bit without leaning too heavily on any specific trope. 

Sidebar, if you’re not already following Tennessoui on tumblr (and keeping an eye on their Ao3), firstly shame on you! But secondly, do yourself a favour; read through their backlog too, they’re constantly creating and updating fics, responding to prompts and engaging with AUs. It’s fabulous and lots of fun! They also do commissions (an opportunity which I may or may not have jumped at 🤫)

Misc Clone Wars Omegaverse🦄

Headcanon that every however many years the Jedi must have a population drive whereby the most powerful compatible a/o pairing become mated & create some magical bebbies✨ Even though it’s the height of the clone wars and they need their best Jedi at the cold face, they’ve also had a lot of losses so the council decides it is essential to observe this custom~

Of course alpha!Obiwan and omega!Anakin make a golden couple so they are paired up & sent off to experience mated bliss (and then come back & lead their armies please!)

The council was on the fence about choosing Anakin as their omega since he tends to be... volatile (at the best of times). But ultimately the council decides that being mated and having some bebs will calm him down & give him an outlet for his emotions. So it’s a win win! 

Anakin begrudgingly accepts - not loving the fact that his legion will be in someone else’s hands for 9 months. Ahsoka, however, thinks this is the best thing that has ever happened (aka. SIBLINGS!!!)

Anakin immediately falls preg with twins (because the sith work hard but alpha!Obiwan works harder)

As soon as preg hormones kick in Anakin is NOT feeling the chancellor at all 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Both twinnies inside him are super strong with the force, and that combined with Anakin’s astronomic midichlorian count make all his Jedi senses razor sharp 

Initially he can’t work out why the chancellor gives him such a gross feeling and everything he says pisses him *way* off. He tries to rise above it to begin with, but the more preg he gets the sharper his senses are and the fewer fucks he gives. 

Until one day it’s “Obi-Wan. I think the Chancellor might be full of shit” 😐

Anakin can sense sith whilst preg?! 🫢

Anyways, turns out being so incredibly strong in the force whilst preg makes Anakin able to form attachments & loving relationships without being pulled towards the dark side 🥲

His force sensitivity heightens; he’s able to feel what someone else is feeling, more detailed than just a regular force signature. It ends up being a huge asset to the council, and even Padmé starts bringing him to the senate as it seems to have a flow on effect to non-force users too & he can give her all the goss ✨

What’s funny though is that Anakin being so force powerful makes the chancellor even more obsessed with him, which Anakin can clearly feel, and uses it completely to his & the Jedi’s advantage in exposing him 

He can even tell there’s something funny going on with all the clones - something going on in their heads 🤔

So, to continue the ✨thought✨ above...

Not preg Anakin being a double-agent and pretending to join the dark side w. the chancellor, whilst all the while manipulating him into revealing his plans and feeding them back to the Jedi 🙃

With his massively force heightened senses, he finally works out that there’s like a bloody bomb or something that’s been implanted in all the clones, but he’s not 100% sure of the details. It would be FAR TOO suss to start meddling with any of the clones on Coruscant (Palpatine’s eyes are everywhere), so he demands to be taken to the 501st as he needs to know more & he trusts them to keep it on the DL while he explains & reads them with the force etc.

Only prob is, he’s like 100% pregnant at this point, and alpha papa Obi-Wan (who is stationed at Coruscant to be with Anakin and help expose the chancellor) is not feeling great about his mate going to a war zone (the 501st is currently mid-mission) whilst in a very vulnerable state. Anakin insists he is the least vulnerable he’s ever been since he could basically realign stars with the force at this point, but this means nothing to Obi-Wan’s protective alpha hormones.

Anakin can clearly feel how stressed it makes Obi-Wan. So what does he do? Well, he does what any good omega mate would do I guess... 🤫 After which he takes advantage of Obi-Wan’s “compliancy” to get his blessing. He wonders that Obi-Wan still finds him so attractive even now when feels like a Hutt. But there’s no denying he does (literally, Anakin can feel it). In fact, there are times it feels very much like Obi-Wan finds him more attractive right now, but he doesn’t think about that for too long 🤷🏼‍♂️

*Le sidebar*, sex for Anakin whilst being so force strong is: an intense experience~ He’s able to feel Obi-Wan’s alpha pleasure and live inside it, whilst simultaneously experiencing his own bliss and everything that comes along with being a mated preg omega. He can feel exactly what Obi-Wan likes and communicate what he needs back to him without speaking. Preg force sex is the shit basically 🔥

SO: Anakin, Obi-Wan, some fellow Jedi knights (acting as protection) and R2-D2 (acting as moral support) secretly head off to the planet where the 501st is stationed w. Plo Koon and Ahsoka.

Ahsoka has seen Anakin via holocomm once or twice since being deployed but not in person for quite a while, and she cannot contain her excitement when the ship lands & Anakin disembarks looking lightyears more healthy and rested than she remembers. Yes he looks a little flushed and uncomfortable (being almost ready to pop) but the dark circles under his eyes have gone, and he has lost the permanently haunted look he always used to have. Yay happy Master!! Yay imminent siblings!! (or: Ahsoka thinking this is the best idea the council’s ever had~)

They bring Rex, Echo & Fives to the ship so Anakin can force read them. They’re super sweet and awkward around Anakin, not knowing how to act towards their general with him being so vulnerable (they think). Anakin has to tease them pretty ruthlessly for it to make them relax a bit. 

And of course as soon as Anakin uses the force on them at such close range he can immediately sense there’s something foreign in their brains 👎🏼 They bring in more of the 501st - and it’s the same deal. 

They scan Rex in the med bay & locate a small mass in his brain. It’s so small a medical droid is able to remove it with minimal invasion. Holding it, Anakin is able to feel its link with the dark side - with Sith activity.  

Unfortunately, at this point Anakin starts to feel something else too, contractions 🫣 He’d been having some small pains before they left, but this was definitely a step up - and not at all pleasant.

He manages to stifle his reaction, however the surrounding posse of Jedi feel a huge spike in the force - thanks to Anakin & the twins (Ahsoka: “what in Sith’s name was that?!”)

Obi-Wan connects the spike to Anakin and their bebbies and immediately starts fussing over him. The clones are. Shook. 

“It’s fine! I’m fine, everything’s fine” Anakin insists. Everyone breaths a sigh of relief. “It was a contraction, but more importantly - ”

Obi-wan: “WHAT?!?!?!” 

Anakin: “But more importantly, Palpatine felt that too. He’s going to start looking for us.”

Random omegaverse Obikin/Vaderwan

Sketchy ideas around a dramatic omegaverse, mpreg/birth Obikin storyline - maybe enough to be a prompt? I’m too lazy to write the full story 👀

Caveat - this is a very loose interpretation of the SW timeline, I’m still getting up to speed on some details...

Omega Anakin got pregnant to Alfa Obiwan before he was turned to the Dark Side & became Darth Vadar (no burning incident~ in this universe).

Fights continue between the Empire & the Jedi (in this universe), with major wins and losses happening on each side. After several months the Jedi manage to capture Vadar during a stealth attack, & hold him captive at their base (???).

When Obiwan hears this he is wary & very concerned since he doesn’t know what happened to the baby that was conceived. He is taken to Vadar’s “cell” (???) where he is heavily restrained in with cuffs etc. Obiwan is shocked and moved to see he is both unarmored and very pregnant. Obiwan calculates he would have to be full term at this point. He wears his cloak with his hood on, and is slumped to conceal as much of himself as possible. The guards try to interact with him, but they soon realise he has gone into labour...

Obiwan stuff happens... it’s his child so he’s concerned but cautious since he doesn’t know where Vadar is at psychologically - he doesn’t want the child to be hurt, or for Vadar to use it against him/them.

**Maybe Vadar does threaten to hurt Obiwan’s child (that’s inside him) if they don’t let him go or give him something he wants in the battle (i.e., surrender themselves). 

This sets off negotiations which stalls progress on any further attack on the Empire. However Vadar’s labour is also progressing, so they’re running out of time to come to an agreement. Obiwan is getting more and more concerned that something will happen to their child.

Vadar is still able to use the force against guards/fighters if they come too close to him or try to engage - but he can’t get rid of his restraints (mainly cuffs, they haven’t chained him up of anything).

The medicos on the base are getting more & more concerned that he is entering active labour and will need to be moved soon... to be continued... 👀

Omegaverse Obikin family thought 👀

I’m obsessed with the idea of Alpha Obi Wan and Omega Anakin desperately wanting a family together, but Anakin hating everything about actually carrying and delivering the children. In contrast, Obi Wan thinks it is the most beautiful & sacred thing that has happened to them 😇

Anakin cops some pretty bad morning sickness at the beginning of his pregnancy, which he is happy enough to grit his way through. However, Obi Wan makes it his #1 mission to ease the discomfort as much as he possibly can - researching traditional remedies and only cooking food with ingredients that ease Anakin’s nausea. 

When he starts to show, Obi Wan is obsessed with Anakin’s belly - wanting to hold it and talk to it as much as humanly possible. He insists it will help establish a bond between him and their child - as well as help release nurturing Omega hormones within Anakin, and help him begin nesting. Anakin thinks it’s just superstition carried over from Obi Wan’s conservative Alpha background, and insists he feels no different to normal - plus, he is far too busy planning for his first mission after birth to start nesting any time soon! That being said, he doesn’t begrudge any physical contact with his mate, whatever the context 💕 

By the time Anakin is in his final trimester he is completely fed up with being pregnant. He could deal with it when he was more or less able to do everything he normally did (e.g., battle training, mission planning, attending council hearings, etc) but now that he’s been discharged on parental leave he’s going out of his mind with boredom. It doesn’t help that the effects of late stage pregnancy are making themselves well and truly known - his back aches, he’s got ridiculous and frequent food cravings, he’s emotional at the most unexpected times, and most often than not - unbelievably horny 😶

Perhaps if he was more sentimental and believed, like Obi Wan, that their child was bonding with them in utero, he’d have more patience for this part of his pregnancy. But as it was, the frequent kicking of his ribs, the squashing of his bladder, and the constant growing bigger and bigger - making Anakin feel breathless and less physically in control than ever before - left him literally counting down the days. Regardless, he was incredibly exited to meet their baby - he deeply wanted to be a family with Obi Wan - but his pragmatism just didn’t stretch far enough for him to appreciate the “wonder” of pregnancy.

Obi Wan, on the other hand, was the complete antithesis of this. Every sentimentality that Anakin lacked, Obi Wan made up for three fold. Usually the pragmatist one of the couple, Obi-Wan flipped the scales completely in the face of their imminently growing family, and Anakin eventually decided to just give in & indulge his fawning. It was kind of fun/ny to be honest, seeing the great and powerful Jedi Obi-Wan made so mushy & gentle. But also - who is Anakin to turn down being waited on hand & foot! He even considered delegating the nesting to Obi-Wan, which Obi-Wan dismissed as ridiculous - however Anakin noticed it didn’t stop him from presenting a whole mockup of how the nursery could look, complete with an ornamental light sabre mobile, and artworks depicting both Stewjon and Tatooine 🌙🌙

When their daughter Leia is finally born (spoiler alert: Anakin hated labour, 10/10 would not recommend, biggest hassle ever) they are head over heals in love with her. Anakin has to admit that she makes everything completely worth it, and he almost feels a bit guilty for hating his pregnancy so much - how could he when the result was this spectacular?! In his humble opinion, he grew a perfect baby - maximum pride, full return on investment. As far as he’s concerned, he (and Obi-Wan if he’s being specific) made the BEST baby that’s ever been made, and no one can tell him any different. 💯😌
