Random omegaverse Obikin/Vaderwan

Sketchy ideas around a dramatic omegaverse, mpreg/birth Obikin storyline - maybe enough to be a prompt? I’m too lazy to write the full story 👀

Caveat - this is a very loose interpretation of the SW timeline, I’m still getting up to speed on some details...

Omega Anakin got pregnant to Alfa Obiwan before he was turned to the Dark Side & became Darth Vadar (no burning incident~ in this universe).

Fights continue between the Empire & the Jedi (in this universe), with major wins and losses happening on each side. After several months the Jedi manage to capture Vadar during a stealth attack, & hold him captive at their base (???).

When Obiwan hears this he is wary & very concerned since he doesn’t know what happened to the baby that was conceived. He is taken to Vadar’s “cell” (???) where he is heavily restrained in with cuffs etc. Obiwan is shocked and moved to see he is both unarmored and very pregnant. Obiwan calculates he would have to be full term at this point. He wears his cloak with his hood on, and is slumped to conceal as much of himself as possible. The guards try to interact with him, but they soon realise he has gone into labour...

Obiwan stuff happens... it’s his child so he’s concerned but cautious since he doesn’t know where Vadar is at psychologically - he doesn’t want the child to be hurt, or for Vadar to use it against him/them.

**Maybe Vadar does threaten to hurt Obiwan’s child (that’s inside him) if they don’t let him go or give him something he wants in the battle (i.e., surrender themselves). 

This sets off negotiations which stalls progress on any further attack on the Empire. However Vadar’s labour is also progressing, so they’re running out of time to come to an agreement. Obiwan is getting more and more concerned that something will happen to their child.

Vadar is still able to use the force against guards/fighters if they come too close to him or try to engage - but he can’t get rid of his restraints (mainly cuffs, they haven’t chained him up of anything).

The medicos on the base are getting more & more concerned that he is entering active labour and will need to be moved soon... to be continued... 👀

Omegaverse Obikin family thought 👀

I’m obsessed with the idea of Alpha Obi Wan and Omega Anakin desperately wanting a family together, but Anakin hating everything about actually carrying and delivering the children. In contrast, Obi Wan thinks it is the most beautiful & sacred thing that has happened to them 😇

Anakin cops some pretty bad morning sickness at the beginning of his pregnancy, which he is happy enough to grit his way through. However, Obi Wan makes it his #1 mission to ease the discomfort as much as he possibly can - researching traditional remedies and only cooking food with ingredients that ease Anakin’s nausea. 

When he starts to show, Obi Wan is obsessed with Anakin’s belly - wanting to hold it and talk to it as much as humanly possible. He insists it will help establish a bond between him and their child - as well as help release nurturing Omega hormones within Anakin, and help him begin nesting. Anakin thinks it’s just superstition carried over from Obi Wan’s conservative Alpha background, and insists he feels no different to normal - plus, he is far too busy planning for his first mission after birth to start nesting any time soon! That being said, he doesn’t begrudge any physical contact with his mate, whatever the context 💕 

By the time Anakin is in his final trimester he is completely fed up with being pregnant. He could deal with it when he was more or less able to do everything he normally did (e.g., battle training, mission planning, attending council hearings, etc) but now that he’s been discharged on parental leave he’s going out of his mind with boredom. It doesn’t help that the effects of late stage pregnancy are making themselves well and truly known - his back aches, he’s got ridiculous and frequent food cravings, he’s emotional at the most unexpected times, and most often than not - unbelievably horny 😶

Perhaps if he was more sentimental and believed, like Obi Wan, that their child was bonding with them in utero, he’d have more patience for this part of his pregnancy. But as it was, the frequent kicking of his ribs, the squashing of his bladder, and the constant growing bigger and bigger - making Anakin feel breathless and less physically in control than ever before - left him literally counting down the days. Regardless, he was incredibly exited to meet their baby - he deeply wanted to be a family with Obi Wan - but his pragmatism just didn’t stretch far enough for him to appreciate the “wonder” of pregnancy.

Obi Wan, on the other hand, was the complete antithesis of this. Every sentimentality that Anakin lacked, Obi Wan made up for three fold. Usually the pragmatist one of the couple, Obi-Wan flipped the scales completely in the face of their imminently growing family, and Anakin eventually decided to just give in & indulge his fawning. It was kind of fun/ny to be honest, seeing the great and powerful Jedi Obi-Wan made so mushy & gentle. But also - who is Anakin to turn down being waited on hand & foot! He even considered delegating the nesting to Obi-Wan, which Obi-Wan dismissed as ridiculous - however Anakin noticed it didn’t stop him from presenting a whole mockup of how the nursery could look, complete with an ornamental light sabre mobile, and artworks depicting both Stewjon and Tatooine 🌙🌙

When their daughter Leia is finally born (spoiler alert: Anakin hated labour, 10/10 would not recommend, biggest hassle ever) they are head over heals in love with her. Anakin has to admit that she makes everything completely worth it, and he almost feels a bit guilty for hating his pregnancy so much - how could he when the result was this spectacular?! In his humble opinion, he grew a perfect baby - maximum pride, full return on investment. As far as he’s concerned, he (and Obi-Wan if he’s being specific) made the BEST baby that’s ever been made, and no one can tell him any different. 💯😌

Rando Obikin birth🚿

Squick warning: omegaverse birth~

Obi-Wan followed the healer into the birthing wing, his nerves making it impossible to keep a normal distance behind her.

Anakin's aching force signature told Obi-Wan they were nearing his room, and as it grew stronger so too did the sound of desperate, hoarse moans coming from up ahead. No point asking whose they were, Obi-Wan scowled at himself. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end, it felt deeply unnerving to know his mate was in so much pain, but even worse to know he hadn't been there supporting him for so much of it.

The healer finally turned towards a door. 

"This is his suite" she stuttered slightly as Obi-Wan almost stepped on her toes with impatience.

Entering cautiously, she made herself known to the other healers, who clocked Obi-Wan and quickly gestured him over. The room was dimly lit and heavily scented, and it took him a moment to realise the scent was coming from Anakin. His omega birth scent was sweet and comforting - like the aroma of food at a family gathering, or warm breakfast when it's still dark outside. Obi-Wan knew it was normal for omegas to scent just before giving birth in order to create a welcoming space for their child, but he realised with shame that Anakin's body must have gone into overdrive in the absence of his mate.

Upon entry, he had assumed Anakin would be on the bed. But now he realised the bed was empty, although it showed signs of recent activity; the sheets were messily pulled back and there were pillows strewn across the mattress.

The healer who'd beckoned him over lead him on to what must have been the fresher room, which he now saw was the hub of activity. Another low, animal-like moan sounded from ahead and spurred him forward, the healers quickly making space for him in the smaller room. 

At last he saw Anakin, appearing in a state more vulnerable than he ever thought he’d see him - his fearless, powerful, war-hero mate. It took his breath away. Anakin was standing in the shower, leaning heavily against the wall, completely naked as warm water ran down his back. He launched into another desperate groan and arched his neck back as though trying to escape his body. Obi-Wan glimpsed the pure exhaustion on his face and his chest tightened further with guilt. 

"Good, very good Anakin" said one of the closest healers, who was pressing both hands against Anakin's lower back the same way you might hold shut a bursting door. Then she continued with pointed cheeriness "Anakin - your mate is here".

Anakin must have been so engulfed in the pain that he hadn't even registered Obi-Wan's force signature. His head snapped around instantly at the mention of his mate.

When their eyes locked, Obi-Wan, much to his embarrassment, could only manage a pathetic "Anakin!". Anakin, understandably, couldn’t manage much more himself, and replied with a choked "Obi-Wan!" 

Obi-Wan lurched forward without a second thought and caught Anakin as he fell into Obi-Wan with a feverish hug. Anakin’s breath was coming in gasps and Obi-Wan realised he was crying - he burnt with shame yet again. 

"I'm so sorry Anakin" he repeated, running a hand through his damp hair. He tilted Anakin’s face towards him to plant gentle kisses along his cheek and forehead, then jumped as Anakin kissed him needily on the mouth. 

“I'm so glad you’re here” Anakin gasped, drinking in Obi-Wan’s face as tears crept down his own. 

“I’m not going anywhere, dear heart” said Obi-Wan, “you’ve done so well so far, I knew you would be a natural at this.”

Anakin scoffed weakly. 

“Natural? I told all the healers to kriff off and tried to escape when they weren’t looking.”

“Why in force’s name would you do that?”

Anakin’s exhausted features crinkled into a grin. 

“Well they gave me this oxygen gas, which made me kind of high, then I decided I didn’t want to give birth afterall and tried to leave.”

Obi-Wan couldn’t pretend he wasn’t surprised. He planted another kiss on Anakin’s shimmering lips.

“Well you were always headstrong, my dear.”

I am seeing omegaverse Obikin in eeeverything now

E.g, my aunt was telling me about the time she was 2-weeks-overdue with her second daughter, and she ran into an old family friend out shopping & he was so worried he insisted he drive her home. He drove past her husband’s office on the way and told him what he was doing, but wouldn’t let her get out till he dropped her home.

(Although I’m not 100% behind the loss of autonomy lol),

I still think it would be a super cute and funny situation if 2-weeks-overdue omega!Anakin is out in Coruscant trying to get intel or follow up a lead or something, and like Rex runs into him and is just like “NO!!! ☝🏼” and absolutely won’t hear any arguments until he can drop him off at Anakin & Obi-Wan’s apartment. Bonus lols for alfa!Obi-Wan’s gratefulness but also smug amusement when Rex comes past the Jedi temple on the way to inform The General Kenobi that he apologises for any overstepping but he is currently returning General Skywalker to safety ((against his will)) and it’s probably appropriate that he knows, Sir 🙃

✨Misc Obikin omegaverse fluff✨ *squick*

Headcanon where Obi-Wan returns from a mission posting just as Anakin is almost full-term preg with their first child. 

Omegas are normally extremely sensitive and focused on nesting just before birth, but Anakin has never been a particularly normal omega. 

Obi-Wan is quite breath-taken to see his strong, dashing mate now appear much more beautiful and tender, his frame having lost much of it’s usual muscle-tone, making him appear more statuesque and willowy. His face has become softer, the sharp lines of his cheeks and jaw curved slightly with the final stages of pregnancy, lips slightly swollen and pink. He doesn’t carry particularly large (which doesn’t surprise Obi-Wan, of course Anakin is suited to breeding, he’s perfect at everything else!), but the swell of his belly is still quite impressive. Obi-Wan’s heart sings to see Anakin in this way - made vulnerable and raw, his omega state providing a perfect gateway for him to express the many emotions that always seemed to be bottled up inside him. He wonders if he will take the opportunity.

However, sure enough, Anakin was not going to let his guard down that easily. Ever the stubborn and fierce war general, Anakin brought out his best playful antagonism for Obi-Wan’s return, teasing him ruthlessly about almost missing the birth of their child, faux apologising for interrupting his plans with his inconvenient timing, making light of his own softer appearance and cumbersome belly - saying Obi-Wan should take advantage while he can because soon Anakin would be back to his fighting weight. Obi-Wan was amused and returned his taunts with relish, but continued to wait with baited breath to see the inevitable tenderness that Anakin must be feeling at the moment - the hyper sensitivity, the powerful emotions, the constant need for contact and encouragement from his alfa whilst he nests. He wondered what nesting even looked like for Anakin. 

In the bedroom later that night Anakin still hadn’t given in - baiting Obi-Wan with flirtatious jibes and making light of his changed body as they undressed each other. Obi-Wan continued to play, but knew that as soon as he opened Anakin up physically there would be nothing Anakin could do to hide. 

And finally, he was proven right.

Obi-Wan takes in his heroic omega mate lying completely exposed against their pillows; pregnant, naked and glowing with sweat post orgasm - then slowly but surely brings him to another orgasm, and then another... 

Panting and open mouthed with tears running down his face, Anakin has finally run out of words. He can only watch Obi-Wan helplessly, willing him to understand the maelstrom of emotions swirling around inside him right now - how much he needs Obi-Wan. How much he needs Obi-Wan’s hands on him, holding him, holding him whilst Anakin holds their child inside him, promising not to leave again or even mention being apart, assuring him that his body is not ugly even though it looks so different to how it used to, assuring him he will be here to look after them forever, just as Anakin will look after them with everything he has.

Obi-Wan holds Anakin’s glistening cheek in one hand, and places the other gently on the warm swell of his belly, saying simply “I understand, darling. I will never leave you. You are everything to me. You both are.” 

Anakin breaths properly for the first time in months, and emotions crash out of him through the force as his walls crumble. With his head spinning, he begins laughing and crying at the same time, unable to make sense of anything, unable to explain, but needing to express himself somehow. Tears streaming down his face, he pulls Obi-Wan towards him and kisses him fiercely. Obi-Wan returns his passion but lets himself be led by Anakin and his needs. 

When he pulls away Anakin can only choke out “I love you, Obi-Wan” and press their foreheads together. 

“We love you - I can feel it” he continues, holding Obi-Wan’s hand against his belly. “I can feel them in the force, I know they can feel you too”. Then Anakin manages a teary chuckle as a faint kick pushes against their hands at the exact right moment. 

With a few words, Anakin has undone Obi-Wan too. His omega is beyond anything he could have imagined.

Squick/TW: omegverse, ambiguous consent 

Set in an AU omegaverse where, under extreme circumstances, the practice of inducing an omega’s heat in order to mate/impregnate them for their own health & safety is legally permitted. And this is what the council told Obi-Wan to do to Anakin just as he was on the turn. 

Obi-Wan knew there was more to Anakin & Padmé’s “friendship” so he asked for her cards on the table, and she finally admits they have indeed been married since the start of the clone wars. 

In this AU, if this endangered omega is already partnered up with someone who isn’t an alfa, the siring alfa must included the beta mate in the mating “activities”. 

So there’s a dirty little situation for you 😶

“Ani, someone is here to help you”. 

Anakin looked wrecked. He lay sprawled across the bed in his night clothes, half pulled off and almost soaked through with sweet heat sweat. 

Padmé entered cautiously, the room heavy and intoxicating even to her beta senses. 

“It’s ok” she soothed, crawling onto the bed like some kind of creature from the jungles of Scarif. She could almost feel the heat radiating off him. “I know you can feel him. I know you want him”.

His breathing was fast and sharp and he watched her through lidded eyes. “You… did this” he gasped desperately. She couldn’t tell if his expression was one of anger, pain or pleasure - more likely a combination of all three. Either way he looked exquisite, his strong features flushed and glistening, lips a swollen, deep red. 

“Shhhh” she cupped his face in her hand, brushing away drenched hair. Anakin let out a strangled noise at the contact with skin, scrunching his eyes and pushing into her touch. 

“I promise this will make everything better”. Then she kissed him. His lips tasted... unimaginable - a taste that was alive somehow, like high spring. Almost unconsciously she found herself grasping his face with both hands, kissing him greedily and deeply, drinking him in. A part of her realised she had never expected to experience Anakin in full-blown heat, she almost hadn’t dared to - the thought alone was too powerful.

A sound from beyond the bedroom door brought her back to reality. Their lips made a lewd sound as she broke away. Anakin’s head fell back into the pillow and he moaned with deep impatience, hips squirming against the mattress.

Obi-Wan. They needed Obi-Wan.
