What I feed my 2 black moor goldfish

As their staple food, they get the Omega One small goldfish pellets. When I run out of their Omega One pellets, I feed them the large Fluval goldfish Bug Bites.

However, I’m not a huge fan of this food. Not because of the ingredients, the ingredients are actually very good. I don’t like this food for my fish because although it is marketed as a sinking pellet, they don’t sink and I prefer that my goldfish don’t get a huge gulp of air with their food.

Along with the pellets, they also almost always have a piece of Omega One seaweed on a clip in their tank. Some people don’t agree with this but goldfish are omnivores and everything else in their diet is pretty meaty. Plus in the wild, goldfish are grazing fish.

For some variety, I also give them Omega One frozen bloodworms or brine shrimp 2-3 times a week.
