I don't know if anyone's noticed it before, so I just want to point it out. In Greek Mythology, Centaurs were known for being savage and wild, with the exception of Chiron. They were also said to be lustful, usually carrying off women. In the book Hermione tricks Umbridge into the Forbidden Forest, and I have no doubt that she knew Umbridge would insult the Centaurs, and I'm sure she knew how Centaurs are being as smart as she was. Everyone saw how traumatized Umbridge was after the incident, so did Hermione set up Umbridge to be raped?

Of course this is all speculation and JK's Centaurs are probably different from the Greek ones.
