It had been a long hard battle, but Ying Xiu had come out victorious in the end. It didn’t matter that both of them had heaps of work piled up on them. Nor did it matter that either one had to graciously scrape up some time in their ever busy schedules just so Ying Xiu could have it her way in a mentor-student picnic. It was simple, it was fun, and it was definitely something both of them needed.
“Isn’t this great Long?” Ying Xiu exclaimed out in glee as she had in her hands her bag full of food that she had prepared just for the occasion. She had picked a fine little park, somewhere nice and maybe quite well-known but she forced the other to get a day off where it wasn’t the busiest and most people would be at work.
The pinkette placed her bag down on the grass just so she herself would follow suite afterwards. She laid there giggling, loving the feel of the earth, green, and soft blowing wind. “Come here, quickly, I made lots of food! We can laze around all day!” She informed him with another laugh.
“Do you want to eat some sandwiches? I made my favourite steam buns too, oh or maybe my world famous mashed potatoes is what you’d first want to dig into?” She inquired, laying down on her stomach as her chin rested on the palm of her hands, looking at Long. “I’m already feeling hungry.”
