Okay, I've gatekept (i.e., forgotten to fully post about this) enough:
Get y'all an Omnicharge.
It's the portable charging base that has changed my life. I first used it back in my college days, when my school's library had them available. I'd get one every time to charge my laptop in between classes. And I swore I'd get one—finally committing to doing so in October 2022.
And y'all.
The only thing I have plugged in to the chord in my room is the charger for my Omni. Everything else—cellphone, earbuds, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, laptop—gets plugged into the Omni itself:
There are multiple versions of it, but mine, the 20+ 120v, comes with a 100W AC port, 2 18W USB-A ports, a 100W USB-C port, a 100W DC port, and the top is 10W Qi, allowing for wireless charging.
I also opted to get the bundle, which came with a 60W USB-C cable, a 65W GaN charger (which has its own extra ports on it), and the carrying case!
Like seriously y'all, tap in. I'm gonna circle back eventually and get the thinner mobile mobile version to keep in my purses.
It charges up SO quickly too, that by the time my next thing needs its juice, I'm good to go. And it carries more than enough charge to take care of my cell and Switch at the same time!
You can also turn on and off what ports are being used.
My only minor issue with it was that when I first got my bundle, I was sent the 45W USB-C wall charger that Omni also has (I think it was part of an older bundle). But, after I noticed the mistake cuz my Omni wasn't charging with it (which taught me all about ensuring that everything you have is the proper wattage), I emailed the support team, and they were quick to rectify the problem. They sent me my GaN and I got to keep the wall charger!
Not to mention, when I first emailed them back in college about a potential student discount, the team then was so surprised that I was using it at school, that they offered me a special discount on the case since they don't do student discounts. Just very nice energy all around!

Tech setup I obsessed over working perfectly as intended.
The Surface chargers are so so bulky, and I wanted to keep my genuine one in the safety of my home, so when I picked up the bigger mobile Omni, I got the adapter it offers.
Walking into my first class of the semester, seeing that the tables don't have outlets built in, then watching another student move their seat to the front to be able to use a wall one under the board, while knowing that I'm de-plugged from that was so 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾
And, charging the Omni itself is easy cuz I can just do it at home or the computer lab between my biggest class gap. I love how I make things so comfy cozy for myself.
