Sure no problem but before I start if anyone enjoys the posts and missed my previous coverage of the topic you can find more here. "Good soldiers follow orders." Clone Troopers as part of the GAR internalized this mantra in a number of ways, including putting duty over their own bladders. They don't go to the refresher on duty only during regimented controlled and preplanned breaks. It's their own responsibility to monitor their water consumption to ensure this need doesn't interfere with the course of their duties. Only the most desperate of clones would ask leave to empty their bladder, and most clone officers, while sympathetic, would still turn down the request as a product of the clone's own failure. To add to further clone desperation, there is the fact that cloning wasn't a perfect process, with there being minor genetic differences, such as Rex's blond hair all the way to Clone 99's premature aging. The imperfect cloning process would continue to grow through the war as the Kaminoans began having to stretch Jango's depleting genetic samples. Where am I going with this concept? Clone trooper bladder size variations as opposed to every clone having a bladder the same size, the troopers started with big stronger bladders, only for an increasing number of clones to struggle with smaller or reduced bladders the later they were created. Now not every later generation clone will struggle with this, but it will become clear that an increasing portion of each batch is incapable of holding to the same extent displayed by their peers. Now, while Kaminoans certainly want their clones to have strong bladders, a weak bladder is something they are willing to overlook, as it won't necessarily impair combat and it's something they believe they can address during training and equipment. With the number of clones needed in the field growing, they simply can't afford to be as picky as they might wish. Now when it comes to training, I imagine there is further emphasis placed on the clones learning to ignore the needs of their bodies, specifically their bladders, for long periods, whether when marching, shooting weapons, or piloting vehicles. With the aim of forcing these clone's bladder to expand through training in a way that hadn't biologically. It's something that will be miserable for all clones, not just those with the smaller bladders, and I imagine a number of repeat and frequent accidents outside of or in line for the refresher. As for equipment, the black bodysuit under the armor will be made extra absorbent to soak things up in case any of the clones have accidents. Now the bodysuit could always do this, but with the number of clones wetting themselves rising, it's better to improve this specific function. Now why emphasize bladder training when the suit can handle this? Simple morale: it wouldn't do for the republic's soldiers to needlessly wet themselves whenever the urge struck. Plus, the clones are still human and would likely be embarrassed anytime this were to happen. In fact, a form of Kaminoan programming could take the form of clone-on-clone hazing against those who wet themselves. Where the act of peeing oneself is the sign of being a lesser clone and could be used to discredit one's attempt to rise higher in the ranks, which could result in clone orchestrated sabotage. You fear some jerk you hate is going to be given command of your unit in absence of any jedi well time to make it look like he's from a latter substandard batch of clones. Pay off the bartender to slip him diuretic after diuretic into his beer and have your buddies pack the bars refresher to max capacity. His chances of command will be gone the moment he proves he can't even command his own bladder.
