omphalaphobia

i could be sleeping right now, but instead I'm going to write about something that scares me more then anything else in this world: belly buttons. 

This is not a joke, this is a serious problem that ive had for as long as i can remember. it causes me the utmost anxiety and stress to even think about, but right now i will make an exception. 

think of something that really bothers you, makes you nauseated, your stomach tighten, you body shake, and you stop breathing. something completely mental that takes a completely physical toll on your body. it is the worst feeling ever. and all you want to do is curl up in the fetal position, and even that wont feel much better. 

the sight of belly buttons, including my own makes me want to cry. but the visual of someone touching one, talking about touching one, or trying to touch mine makes me completely stop breathing. i hate piercings down there just as much. exposing my own belly button also is hard. i will never be naked for more then a few minutes,even under a blanket, because the thought of having an exposed belly button makes me very distressed. i hate the word. hearing it or seeing it written out. i hate the dots that people make on illustrations of belly buttons. i especially hate outties. but i honestly do hate them all. so much that i can no longer think about this.
