What is it that moves us when we see a man animated by some great passion? Is it his words? Sometimes. But what never fails to stir us is cries, inarticulate words, a broken voice, a group of monosyllables with paused in between, a murmur, impossible to describe, deep in the throat or between the teeth.
Denis Diderot, from "Conversations on The Natural Son" in Selected Writings, excerpted in Theatre/Theory/Theatre, ed. Daniel Gerould

Hello everyone. Just wanted to point out that this blog is
1. Creative space
2. Community
Meaning - this would be great if you could communicate with me (and each other) in some way.
Rebloging and liking my posts is great, but same way as with your writing - comments keep a muse alive.
This is like one way conversation, if you never get an answer from the other side you run out of topics to monologue about.
Please throw some words my way.
Answer my posts with your own experiences or tell me what you would like to read about. What common problems you might have encountered as a writer OR reader/commenter.
How did your work/study/life in general affect your writing / changed your writing style / writing goals.
There are actually tons of topics we could be talking about. There is no need to be shy (thought I understand if some of you are just lazy to type).
And by the way, any sort of comment and communication is an actual writing exercise, think about it!
On Communication -
Hesitant vocal inflections Things with such power as these Require a measure of control
makes me sad to think about paul performing i’ll give you a ring in one hand clapping back in ‘74 … feels so in conversation w john (call me back again etc)
