trans woman: says something that is not phrased in a 100% palatable way to every potential person who may read it
everyone, including other trans people: wow let me ignore all context of the conversation and who she has shown herself to be as a person and project every terrible opinion I’ve ever heard from anyone onto her immediately
#this isn’t about any specific instance of this because I’ve seen this play out three times in the past 24 hours to different trans women#on diff platforms#transmisogyny#like what the fuck#take a second and try to talk through the context and what someone actually said out loud and then decide if they are actually saying#all the weird shit you’re projecting (they’re not)
