someone on r/f1 alleged that well known Russian F1 commentator and journalist Alexey Popov hosts what read to me as a formuladank level of homophobic, racist anti-Hamilton Telegram chat where those defending Lewis are banned. By “hosts” does that he mean he actively runs it? Or even looks at it? I do not know.

The post is now deleted, and was weak on evidence, requiring readers to join an (open, non-secret) chat on an app, in a language that most there can not read. I have it saved but I don’t think it adds much.

Popov has mounted the traditional ‘look at this irrational hate’ defense on Twitter, where the OP alleged his posts are far more anodyne, whether that’s due to the wording or the platform context I do not know. 

I got nothing. Just noting. Sometimes things come along later.
