"You better have a damn good reason." Was all he said when he opened his door to see Natasha, looking like she had wrestle an alligator or something huge. "You look like you need a drink." He walked back inside, leaving the door open for her.

Sam blinked at the sight of the redhead, immediately flinging the door open and helped her inside. "You better have a good excuse why you look like crap, Natasha."

Sam had an impulse to slam the door in the assassin's face, his instincts telling him to close the door and head for the hills but he fought against it. This guy was Steve's best friend. He had to help him. He opened the door slightly, enough for the soldier to get past. "You even try to kill me and you'll have a bullet in your head."

"Hill.. Wasn't expectin' you on my doorstep." He replied, looking around her to see if she was followed before opening the door to her, snatching a glance to look at the cuts and bruises on her body.

Now the soldier wasn't expecting this. Not at all. He flew open the door, about to shout at whoever woke him up this early in the morning but he was taken aback when he saw the woman on his doorstep, battered and bruised like a peach. 

"Come on. Lets get you inside." 

He wasn't bothered that she was a stranger. She needed his help and he was going to give it to her.
