This interesting gown was worn by Ona Munson as Belle Watling in a deleted scene from the 1939 film 𝑮𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒅.   It was reused again in 1941 in a production photo for 𝑮𝒐 𝑾𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 on Penny Singleton as Belinda Pendergast, though the costume does not seem to appear in the film itself.   In 1942 the gown was worn again by Helen Parrish as Ellen Sanford in the film 𝑰𝒏 𝑶𝒍𝒅 𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒂.   Like our content?
