I'm just going to say it preemptively: The last sandrock song is active ow. The last splatoon song will be the day after christmas. Unfortunately, there will be another two splatoon songs posted on Christmas. I would have to rearrange too many things to fix this and I would really rather spend my time fixing other things on the blog so I am not going to do that.

After song 500 I changed how I separated songs (note: these were all submitted back when I allowed more than one submission per person, causing many to submit their favorite SERIES osts at the time, and I did not count two different games from the same series 'against one another', so to speak, in posting order.)

Songs from the same game are spaced out by 50-100 songs after #500, so I don't expect this to ever be a problem again. This will be the last time I address this (and I will link to this post in the FAQ for any future inquiries) for both my peace of mind and yours.

Also, to the person who asked about #443: Yes, I can and will do that.

"In 1862 Whistler designed four wood engravings for the London periodical "Once a Week." Many of his Pre-Raphaelite friends were illustrating poems and short stories at this moment and the decade proved to be the start of a new flowering of British illustration. Founded in 1859, "Once a Week" supported the movement and was known as a "journal of the younger men." Whister's image responds to the ballad "Burckhardt von Keller" which tells of a count bewitched and then consumed by a magical serpent-like woman, leaving his bethrothed Clara to wonder what has befallen him.
