Erestor is not really a fan of weapons, for their use generally means war, but he can admire their make and does so frequently. When it comes to making use of his own, he usually relies on his bow. As it allows him to stay as far away from combat as possible. However, because of this, it is often assumed that he is an unskilled warrior. This is false.
Though he practices infrequently, when the time arises, he does so vehemently. His weapon of choice for close combat would be twin blades. He is particularly skilled with them, and few are a match for him, though even fewer know it.
Erestor is neither merciful nor cruel in battle, but rather, emotionally detached. He does what needs to be done, and that’s it. Though he isn’t a thoughtless warrior, he doesn’t let himself feel too deeply when he’s fighting. However, if a situation requires thought (a small skirmish, not a war), then he is capable of being either. Should the situation call for it, he can be quite merciful, but should a loved one have been harmed needlessly, he can be more cruel than most would imagine.
