Now i knew about the onceler fandom on tumblr for a while. Only recently did i find out why it was so infamous. I see now why it's treated as the historical ptsd-inducing tragedy that it is.

I may not have been on tumblr at the time but just from reading a couple archived posts it's like i'm being given a forbidden glance into this...

age of internet, tumblr and fandom history. One of those archived posts i tried to read wasn't even available and that says all i need to know.

I tried looking into something i really shouldn't have and was blocked from a part of my research almost certainly for my own safety.

I can never know how it felt to be there but I do not envy the people who were there and i feel a surging, imminent-oblivion pain in my heart and soul at the mere thought of people who were not just observers to this incident but actively part of it.

Sometimes, it's better to let the past be forgotten.
