“Please,” she asked softly. The incident had frightened her and she would really just wanted his presence. She really would.

He looked at her as she stared at him with those large, hazel eyes. He let out a sigh that sounded more like a huff coming from his large body. “Okay.”

Reginault grunted, always loving the way she bit down on that plump lower lip. Pulling her down on top of him, he rolled to pin her down on the bed. “I think you can,” he missed before capturing her mouth in a devouring kiss.

His reaction took her by surprise. Before she knew what was happening, she was on the bed as well, looking up at him. Their lips touched before she had a chance to respond. She kissed him back eagerly, moaning softly. When their lips parted for a moment, she murmured;

"I should have known you wouldn't take no for an answer.."

She teased him with a hint of amusement.

Just a little change

Another sunrise, another morning, another day just yesterday with no chance of anything being different tomorrow. And another day of futilely wishing for something to change, for some excitement to come into her life. But alas, no such change was forthcoming and so all Belle had to look forward to each day was reading her beloved books, the most recent of which she had just returned to Pére Robert. 

After borrowing a personal favorite from the collection, she was soon on her way home, eager to finish her chores so she could loose herself once more in a romantic world so unlike her own.

Belle might have been overreacting a bit, but she hated the feeling of being watching. She watched Beau as he moved over, finding who it was, and she felt a flash of shame when it was only Chip.

“Sorry,” he said. “I was playing and you guys came, and I didn’t wanna bother you.”

“It’s alright,” Belle told him. “Would you mind going to play somewhere else?”

Chip nodded, and ran off, and Belle turned to Beau, resting her hand on his shoulder. “Sorry,” she said.

It was no doubt the work of the Evil Queen. “Kendall.” She breathed when she saw the woman she had come to know so well, but there was something different about her. “It’s me, Emma. Stop pretending you don’t know me and tell me what’s going on.”

“More of a brisk stroll,” she corrected, calm shrug given as she hid her true purpose. Her eyes tried not to move from him, though she sought for a chance to make a run for it, not ready just yet to go back.
