Hallo! My name is Ivy, from across the pond in Canada. I adore most animals, though I am especially fond of cats (I have 2) and budgies. This sounds ridiculously patriotic, but my favourite holiday is Canada Day (July 1st) because it's the perfect time in the summer with warmth and sun and the added bonus of fireworks. Cinnamon buns? All desserts are my favourite, really. I especially love making them! I'm more or less Hobbit-ish on lazy weekends, which is fittingly what I *may* dress up as. ;3

Hello Ivy! Every Canadian I’ve met in person has owned birds. Is there something going on Canada with you guys and birds? And all deserts - there is a person after my own heart. Also thoroughly supporting another Hobbit costume - go for it!

For whatever reason there was a big bin in the hallway of a building at my university filled with an assortment of old printers (10-15 of them!). It made me think of you and the thought of the resulting horror gave me a good giggle, so I just thought I'd let you know. :)

I needed this today. Bless you for not finding a way to let my husband know. ;)

Merry Christmas! I am terribly sorry for being away these last few days an being remiss in my secret santa duties! My extended family has come down with the stomach flu over the last three days except for my mother and I, so we've been holding the nursing fort. I hope you've been having a lovely holiday season thus far and are enjoying your vacation. <3 much love and merry spirit from this Canadian! :3

Thank you! I don't have a sick family so much as a crazy one, so we've been messing with that (Today we trade out my Mom's crazy family for my Dad's mostly sane one). I'm ready for winter break to stop being so busy. I'm just going to read and drink hot chocolate now. :) Hope all is well for you too~
