For the directors cut - Led Me Straight to You!
you would think that for how much i adore sandray, i'd have more fics for them, but thus far, led me straight to you is my only one skjfhsf. i have other ideas written down! but i simply haven't gotten to them, and that includes the sequel for this fic.
this fic in particular, though, was inspired by two of my favorite headcanons - 1) that sand fell for ray before meeting him and 2) that boston and sand had fucked. i combined the two and decided that the reason sand fell for ray first is because he had been looking at boston, which i think boston would loooove to hear. i also really enjoy the style i wrote this fic in! it's very lighthearted compared to the fics i tend to write and i loved including the little interjections - because if sand is telling a story, ray is gonna have Comments and Thoughts! especially when his good friend boston is involved <3333
i realllllly need to finish the sequel to this because the idea for it very much picks up from the end and follows a similar style - it's gonna be boston explaining to sand how he and ray met through hooking up. it'll be fun once i eventually get it written...
