Today we had a one day collaboration with interior architecture, it was a really interesting workshop where we worked in groups to produce a product, service or system to improve health and wellbeing by encouraging and/or enabling better sleep. We chose to create a smart device called ‘moonlight’ which can control 3 main elements within the home - Temperature, Light and noise. Each one will be controlled by an app where you can pick what time you want to go to bed and the system will gradually prepare the user for sleep. It is mostly aimed at parents for their children but can be used by all members of the family.
We definitely learnt a lot in this one day and it’s amazing how much work we managed to create within just a portion of one day!
