My dad is running the Disney marathon in January to raise money for the ALS Association Florida Chapter on behalf of his brother, who is in the late stsges of ALS, aka Lou Gherig's Disease. My uncle has been my rock my entire life, the person who understands me better than anyone else. He lights up the room and he's always full of insane, hilarious stories that I wouldn't believe if his siblings didn't confirm. Watching him suffer this terrible disease is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Even one dollar can bring us that much closer to finding a cure for this horrible disease.
