Hey wait a minute - why is "Sam" not with the human and instead with Forte?
This is a virtual reality simulation. There are two Charas right now, the real Chara followed Frisk’s mind into Forte, Frisk is in control, but Chara’s still there just chilln. Then there is a virtual Chara hanging out with Sans or “Sam.” Lets call the one with Sans VR Chara. It is unclear at this time what VR Chara wants to do, but so far, Sans is in control and VR is just narrating. For some reason, Chara feels the need to stick with the humans that fall.
