Portrait of David on the Run From Saul by William Schaff and Brothers of Darkness by Mike Egan in contribution towards a sub-set of pieces done for the One Thousand Thousand project.  One Thousand Thousand is an ongoing and frequently collaborative effort to produce an edition of one million hand-made, original works on paper. After making new pieces of art just about every day for the last 20 years the project recently just past the 333,333 mark. To celebrate the point of reaching The First Third 33 other artists were invited to create a piece that was numbered as 333,333 and dated with March 3, 2016. [The day before the retrospective exhibition opened and often written as, yup, 3/3.] 

The work that each artist submitted would then be sent to one of the other participating artists as an art exchange and these are two of the submissions. It’s fittingly cool that Mike and William will finally own a piece of art from one another.
