John Russo "Deep Blue Sea"

Hello lovelies!

A while back, I won a giveaway at SassyShelly.com and I won the prize pack from OverallBeauty.com! There were two nail polishes. The first one from Pretty Serious, called "Viscous Vampire", which I showed you HERE. 

Now let's look at the other one, John Russo "Deep Blue Sea":

Deep Blue Sea is a fantastic blue with a subtle shimmer and to top it off, it's a one-coater! Yes folks, this intense result was obtained with only one coat. I am astonished as well! 

I wanted to do some nail art and practice my one-stroke technique. I decided to try to create some half-moons with white acrylic paint:

It ended up looking a bit like clouds. I'm not super satisfied with the result, but it is a classy manicure!  I love this blue <3

Twinsie Thursday - One Stroke Flowers

Hello Lacquer Lovers!

It is time for another Twinsie Thursday! Lothwen and I decided to venture into a medium we both have never tried.....one stroke flowers! We decided to go with a blue and coral color scheme. I've been practicing for a while now, but this is as good as they have ever gotten!

I started off with Zoya Ling as my base color. I used Zoya Wendy as my accent nail's base. For my flowers I used Wet n Wild French White Creme and Zoya Wendy to create the flowers. On my accent nail I used Wet n Wild French White Creme and Zoya Ling to create the flower. I added three dots in the middle of each flower with either Zoya Ling or Zoya Wendy. I used Zoya Tilda to make the leaves. I topped it off with top coat and I was ready to go!

I haven't seen Lothwen's flowers yet, but I'm sure they are awesome! Darn time differences! As always, I'll be back next month! <3

One-stroke flowers

Hey guys! Today I’ve been practicing the one-stroke technique. I use acrylic paint and an angled flat brush (my regular clean-up brush actually). There’s a lot of tutorials on YouTube of how to create one-stroke flowers so I’m not gonna go into details. It’s fun to practice on a technique but at the same time I wish I could master it already.
