Have you ever read a book, and been so wrapped up in it that it became your whole world? That it meant everything to you? It became so much to you that you knew the characters backgrounds, even though that wasn't even part of the book? Well, for 18 year old Cather, the world of mages have taken over her life. Finfiction is the one thing that has always been there for her. That has gotten her through the tough times, and is there for her now. It's her first year of college, and her twin sister doesn't want to room with her. They have shared a room together for the past 18 years! Cather is struggling with this change. Making new friends, not having her sister around, having her boyfriend of three years break up with her for somebody who scored higher on the ACT tests than she did. Finding new love, and discovering that he was using her this whole time to get a good grade in a class. Stealing her roommates boyfriend (don't worry, her roommate is totally cool with it).
Cather feels like in this world where she (feels like) she means nothing, Simon and Baz are the only two who can understand her. She is in a race against time to finish her fanfic novel before the last and final book comes out.
This book is a story within a story. It has heartbreak and pain. It has love and change. This is everything a book needs to be a good book. I didn't want it to end. But it did. It ended. Just like that. Another one of Rainbow Rowell's books that just ended. This is the second novel I have read of hers, and once again, I feel like she rushed the ending. I just ordered another book of hers. Wayward, Son. It should be here mid April. It will be the 3rd book of hers that I have read. Overall, I give this book an 8/10. (I need a better ending. Who knows, maybe I'll write an ending of my own. She has my FanFic juices flowing.)
Thank you, Rainbow Rowell. You are very insperational, and I absolutly adore that about you. I can not wait for this book to arrive!
New read for the month of April!
This month’s read. Not really a Microsoft fan but I love reading about people who shaped the world. Worth a read if you love memoirs & autobiorgraphies. 😊 #onebookamonth #bookworm #kindlereads
This month’s read. First time I read a book about a Holocaust & learned a lot of new things from this. Highly recommended, especially if you are a @mitchalbom fan! 😊 #onebookamonth #bookworm #bookstagram #kindlefinds
This month’s read kind of ruined my “perception” of the internet. Hard to read online news now after learning about his stories. 😬 #bookstagram #onebookamonth
This month’s read. Reggie seems like a very approachable & fun-loving person, which is why I was hoping for a more “personalized” book. Sadly, the book felt more like an extended CV. #bookstagram #onebookamonth #bookworm #disruptingthegame
Interesting read & totally relatable especially if you live in a 3rd world country like me. #onebookamonth #bookstagram #bookworm #thismonthsread
