New Friend?
Waking up from the night before I realized that I was still in my clothes from yesterday and had books spread out on my bed from studying. Yep, and studying for what exactly, art history. It was one of the hardest subjects for me. I had a test today and needed all the studying from last night. But, as I look over to my phone to check the time I realized It was already 9:00 a.m. I WAS LATE. I hurried and got ready and head out the door. I don’t think I had gotten so much exercising from running so hard. I arrived and saw that everyone had already started their tests. GREAT that’s the last thing I needed. Anyways, I grabbed a test from my professor and began to write. After the test and my brain being drained of all it’s energy I decided to head to the campus library. I loved going there and working on some videos I was filming for my youtube channel. Also, they gave out one dollar green tea. So to say the least it was a win win situation.
As I was just getting done finishing up some ideas someone was standing next to my table and said “ello love”. At first I didn’t really pay attention until I felt someone tap me. I looked up and met the eyes of a man I have never seen before. He had short brown hair but was styled perfectly. His eyes were green and sparking as well as his smile. As I stared he laughed and waved his hand in front of my face to bring me back to reality. He said “ Is this seat taken? I am new here and wanted to make some friends.” I said “ No yeah please take a seat I’m just here brainstorming video ideas.” He sat and pulled out a journal that had some sketches in it and they were beautiful. Some were of flowers, quotes, people, and hands. I could tell that he was very creative. Speaking of hands, they were so detailed i couldn’t help but look at them and his rings. He then spoke again “ I’m so sorry but I never got your name love?” I said “oh, I’m y/n” he said “it’s very nice to meet you y/n.”
We sat with one another for at least 30 mins tops. I finally realized the time and needed to get to my next class. I started to pack up my laptop when he asked where I was going. I told him that I had a classes that started in 5 mins and needed to leave. He asked “will I see you again?” I responded “ of course why don’t we meet here every monday at 10:00.” He smiled at me with his perfect smile and said “I would love that.” I left and I heard him whisper to himself “what a beautiful woman.”
