"If he would just do what I fucking told him, then we wouldn't be in this mess. I promise that I'll treat you like a prince and you'll get whatever you fucking need, but if your dad puts one toe out of line, I will have to take it out of your ass." Negan opened the door to the truck and motioned for Carl to get in. "Let's get going. We don't have all goddamn day, son!"

@one-eye-carl  Sitting quietly, Beth didn't know really what to say. Having found out that Carl had went after Negan -- it made her feel sick. He could've been killed, and despite the fact that he was now home. That he was safe and sound, she still felt uneasy about the entire situation. "You can't just do that, Carl." She finally spoke, looking up so he could see how serious she was. "We already lost too much. I ain't losin' you, too."

                    eyes downcast as carl approached her, lips pursed. she’d been ignoring him for a good week now, but she couldn’t avoid this one. head still replaying his kiss with enid, heart still cracking every time her she saw him with her --------- as if he was ever hers to begin with. she had no place to be jealous, after all the times she’d waved off his crush on her. hands holding one of judith’s toys as the young girl played at her feet, fingers fidgeting. ❛ . . . what do you want ?? ❜ pointless question because she already knew --------- but she’d put off the conversation for as long as possible.

Beth looked across at Carl, smiling gently. It made her heart happy to know that if anything else in this world, she had Carl in her life. They'd grown up in such a weird time, but grown up they had. "And I'll always be here for'ya too, Carl."

  “do ya’ wanna tell me what the HELL you were thinking?” rick shouts at his son, fear, and anxiety written all over his facial features. he knows that carl’s growing up in a shitty world, and that he’s a teenager, but killing two of negan’s men was uncalled for, and had made things worse for all of them, “he could’ve killed you.” rick points out, his eyes are already leaking tears, tears of fear, and anger at himself for letting this all happen.
