STARTER CALL / @killedpeople
He’d been FOUND by Daryl just a couple of days ago, and taken to this place they called ALEXANDRIA. He’s a far way from Queens by now, but once he started running out of his web fluid — the city was no longer safe for him. It had been FINE when he could go from roof top to roof top, and lowering himself to the windows of buildings he could LOOT. He didn’t feel good about any of that, but he had to SURVIVE. He couldn’t get a hold of mister Stark, or any of the other Avengers. He had no idea how they were doing. He doesn’t want to BELIEVE they’ve forgotten him. He had stayed in New York City for as LONG as he could, and he worries each day he should’ve held out a little longer. That Tony had come, but he had just missed him. He doesn’t even want to THINK about May. Not right now — or perhaps ever.
“Mister Grimes… sir,” he’d finally found the LEADER after looking for him for a bit after he woke up. “Can I speak to you for a moment? It’s kind of IMPORTANT.”
taking in MORE people was questionable, considering their past with strangers, and how they’d been BACKSTABBED. but daryl had brought in a kid about his son’s age, and rick couldn’t say no. who would they be if they turned away an INNOCENT kid? they’d be no better than the people they had killed in the past. at the sound of a voice, the former deputy lifts his head, and nods once in greeting. the kid has been a big help, but rick is still on edge.
he turns, hands resting on his hips as he does, “it’s rick, ain’t no NEED to call me by my last name, not anymore.” he didn’t want these people viewing him as some sort of dictator, they were all equals in his mind, and nothing would change that. “go ahead, i’m listening.”
