      Huh? Strange, something almost polite coming out in his voice? From his lips? And most likely, with his consent? Yeah, this was peculiar indeed... The Kano that he wished to be rarely made his appearance, and when he did, it was usually accompanied by a lie and a tease. Even so, it was kind of nice to be able to speak to her this way.

      "Kido's cooking is enough. Besides, you're a member of the Dan, not a servant... You should speak up more."

      Oh God, that was slightly out of character. Not that he knew which character he was to conform too. He would probably return to picking on her when the others came... It would be a bit embarrassing to showcase this side of him. It wasn't like he was fond of being this polite... It felt fake, coming from him. Everything did, but at least he could just laugh it off and not be questioned. Eliciting mutters of annoyance had become something of a hobby, after all.

      He smiled at Mary, wondering if what he had said came out too forceful. She was pretty fragile to the eye, after all. Quick smirk at the idea of her deceiving them all into viewing her this way. Now, that would be pretty funny... But he kind of hated liars. He knew that Seto treasured her and wouldn't hesitate to show it through those little bursts of affection. Ah, Seto was a great guy... To be mean to Mary would be almost equivalent of expressing the same level of rudeness to Seto. That wasn't allowed.

      "Oh, don't mind me~ I'm just thinking out loud, you know. Aha... You don't have to listen."

Letting out a sigh, Kano switched off the television. He'd seen the movie before, but he quite frankly disliked the ending, since in the end, the hero died. At the sound of a door opening, his gaze drifted until it landed on a group of familiar faces. 

"Ah~! Hello, everyone~!" He chirped, making his way over to the group in a cheerful manner.
