Seemed it was one of those nights again.

     A soft sigh escaped the raven as he sat up in his bed, his hand gently sliding through his hair as he stared at the sheets. His insomnia was acting up once again, and he knew what was going to come with it soon after if he was by himself any longer. With a soft grunt, he reached a hand over and grabbed his phone off the table next to his bed, the bright light hurting his eyes for just a moment before he pulled up the one name in his phone that he had any messages from in the first place.

          His question was not one made in confusion at her morals, but rather in contempt of her mercy. She was young— younger than him at least, which said a lot considering he was one of the youngest assassins. The literal infant had him beat in that field, though he did not consider this girl or the young deacon to be cut from the same cloth as his associates. 

          Squatting down beside Suzume, Elliot absently hovered a hand over her shoulder to still her. He inspected the near dead stand user for a moment, hoping to see signs of consciousness. Poor guy really thought he could get away, didn’t he? He was not far off, at least; others had run from greater threats than a pair of teenagers and lived to tell the tale. If he was not mistaken, the local fortune teller managed to evade DIO himself.

          Removing his hand, the man pressed a pair of fingers over the man’s carotid artery. Faint but incessant, the pulse was there. Elliot frowned. Their more humane options were allowing him his freedom to leak their location and powers or condoning his mindless enslavement that would lead to his eventual defeat. Well, he didn’t know for certain whether or not he’d die, but power-wise, the man had displayed little value as it was. 

          ❝ Do him a favor and kill him now, I won’t tell anyone. ❞

  — Darn. Fallen asleep again. It was the melodic ring of the bell that woke him up and Akihisa quietly muttered a curse. Mid-terms were well on their way and he did not manage to copy down any notes for the day’s lesson. Hoping the girl next to him -the girl he didn’t even know the name of- would be kind enough to lend a hand, he leaned towards her.

               ❝  Hey...sorry, I had a rough night yesterday and                        I fell asleep so could I copy your notes?                    Please? I promise I’ll pay you back somehow. ❞

Tokyo was a big place, far bigger than Kagoshima. Before she arrived at the city, Satoko had thought she was able to get around just fine but then she finally got there and she was in for a rude awakening.

Though she was lost, she didn’t really mind it that much and took the opportunity to look around but now that it was getting dark, a sense of unease began to creep up. She needed to find the hotel her mother mentioned before it got too late.

Looking around, she finally spotted a girl who seemed her age. She approached her quickly.

“Um...would you mind waiting a moment, miss?”
