LECTURAS DE ENERO. "Las cien noches de Hero", de Alice Greenberg, fue la primera lectura del año y tengo la sensación de que va a ser de las mejores ❤ Tenía mucho miedo con "The Power", de Naomi Alderman, porque mucha gente la ponía fatal pero, sinceramente, a mí me pareció una idea estupenda y bastante bien desarrollada (un poco aburridilla hacia la mitad, pero enseguida remontó). Y de pronto me entró un antojo super estúpido de leer Las crónicas de Narnia, aun sabiendo que era "la Biblia para niños" (@evablacksmith dixit). Lewis podría haberse cortado un poco con el apostolado, pero fue una lectura entretenida en general y, sorprendentemente, ¡me reí bastante! Así que doy el antojo por bien empleado. P.D. No sabía que había que estar tan fuerte para ser bookstagrammer, madre mía. . . JANUARY WRAP UP. "One Hundred Nights of Hero", by Alice Greenberg, was my first read of the year and it's probably going to be one of the best too ❤ I was very nervous about "The Power", by Naomi Alderman, because a lot of people were very dissapointed by it but, to be honest, I think it was a very clever idea and Alderman did a good job with it (it gets a little slow half way through, but that doesn't last long). And suddenly I was in the mood for some Chronicles of Narnia, even though I had been warned it was "the Bible for kids" (@evablacksmith dixit). Lewis could have been a little subtle about it but, overall, it was an entertaining read, and surprisingly funny! So yeah, I'm glad I read it. P.S.
