5. Best Birthday
I’m trying to think which birthday to pick for this - they’ve all been pretty lovely. Both my 16th and my 18th stand out for different reasons. My 16th was fairly private and quiet, but I can remember every second of it and it’s definitely a very good memory to look back on. My 18th was also pretty quiet, but it was an amazing day to spend with family and close friends that I hadn’t seen in ages and we just laughed a lot and swapped stories of the crazy year we’d all had apart. And then when I got back to Sydney me and a friend consumed a lot of alcohol and lay on the VG under the sprinklers. So good.
10. Biggest fight
I dunno with this one, I’m pretty non-confrontational, which means that I got walked over a fair bit when I was little. The biggest fight in which I was an activeish participant in was the massive blowup in year 10, which was probably mostly my fault but not really. It went on for months and sucked.
15. Most content period in life
Honestly, right now. Everything’s just cruising along and I’m happier and more content than ever, I think. And yeah, that mostly has to do with the amazing environment I’m in and the fantastic friends I have (<3)
20. Something that happened in high school
This is really hard to pick because there was so much that happened in high school. Wow. Um. Shit. I discovered what I’m good at and what I love, I guess. I started realising the importance of actually liking myself, rather than relying on other people for self-worth. And I realised how much anxiety was impacting my life, and I did something about it. And I’m pretty fucking proud of that.
25. Ex-best friend.
I’ve had a lot of the same kind of ex-best friend, so I’ll keep this pretty general. Like I said, I used to be a bit of a pushover, so I was constantly the “best friend” that was around when I was needed, shunted to the side for more interesting people, and instantly dismissed when they weren’t interested in me, usually by picking a fight and getting everyone to side with them. Great fun. Fucking brilliant.
30. Turn-offs
Ignorance, bigotry and ego-centricity. That’s a word, sure. I honestly don’t need to expand on this one.
35. Things I wish I could stop doing
Biting my nails is definitely top of that list, but the second would be worrying too much. I feel like those are in the wrong order for some reason. Priorities.
40. The end of something
The end of high school was very interesting for me. Super hyped up, but it was almost hilariously chilled out. I also realised exactly who my close friends were after that, and I do really miss them now I’ve moved, but I definitely don’t regret breaking out of the mould that most people tend to stay in.

5 Things...
I'm not very good at this but because my lovely friend tagged me in it, I'm going to try. 5 things I like about myself:
1. My eyes. They're plain, uninteresting and a bit misshaped but they're mine. No one else has the same eyes as me. No one else has seen the things I've seen through my eyes. They will always be mine.
2. Sense of humour. It's a bit messed up and hard to understand at times but if I can't laugh at my own sense of humour then what even is a sense of humour.
3. My friends. I know it isn't really 'about myself' but my friends are as big a part of my as any limb. They are always there for me and I feel so thankful that somehow I did something that made them want to be my friend.
4. Train of thought. Similar to my sense of humour it's a bit weird. I think of strange things at strange times but it's all a part of me.
5. Confidence. I'm not the best at approaching people. Not in most situations at least. But when it counts I'll always try to make people feel included. I might come off as a bit harsh but I mean well and once I get to know people and they recognise that I've found that we become better friends afterwards.
