JudasCradle: Would your muserather suffer physically, or be humiliated?
DespiteVincent’s dramatic past with Hojo and how his body was used for all kinds ofexperiments, Vincent would still take physical pain over psychologichumiliation every time. His body heals, yes; he could be endlessly tortured,certainly. But he has learned how to deal with pain all these years, andsometimes a part of his mind still believes he deserves this. This kind ofsuffering – he can take it even if it never kills him due to his peculiarsituation as the vessel for a WEAPON, but his mind is something else entirely.
Humiliationis not something Vincent deals easily with – he was raised to be a proud heir,to be certain of his skills. While his past failures and his guilt sometimesholds him back, he has much more to lose if he gives in to the dark corners ofhis mind (whether this is fueled or not by Chaos’ whispers, no one knows). Factis that constant reminders of his past endeavors with his father, Lucrecia,Sephiroth – and, depending on the verse, other people and/or events – will likelytrigger much more dramatic consequences.
He hasseveral scars all over his body and he survived it; but a scarred mind isforever and his is not so strong already.
