I made this blog for Sephiroth/Vincent threads and content, so not gonna lie here.
WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?
Anything. I built my Vincent based on some headcanons since there’s not much explaining his past, so I envisage Vincent having joined the Turks out of spite and to prove something for the world and for his father. As a result, Vincent during his Turk!days wasn’t closed off or difficult to approach and was much more of a normal person, which would eventually lead him to attempting something with Lucrecia; afterwards, things get harder shipping-wise because of all the horror and trauma he experienced. I don’t oppose writing bad relationships, platonic or what-have-you; it’s harder to see Vincent being in a stable and normal thing when he has beasts locked inside and is haunted by his mistakes.
HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?:
WELL. To be honest all my Vincent ships (AUs removed) deal with extreme age gaps if you assume his biological age of 69+ should be the key factor. On the other hand, this is not the normal age gap thing, since he didn’t actually live through all these years (some good decades sleeping and being tormented in a coffin) and he doesn’t look older than 27, which oddly enough diminishes the age gap issue for a lot of people if you can’t immediately see it. So dunno, this would make me uncomfortable if we had muses way too younger considering him to be a 27 year old (Yuffie being a minor, for instance). Hard to pin down, this one.
ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?:
...Hmmm depends. Depending on the verse I’m playing, Vincent would go around sleeping with everyone and being flirty, so shipping would be easier; otherwise, no. My favorite ships also require a lot of building to get there, so I’d assume there’s a degree of selectivity.
HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NSFW?:
The minute things get more heated and go past simple, tender kisses and whispered words, I’ll get things under a cut and tag it.
WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?:
Hmmm, several muses were brave enough to get there (and I applaud their muns as well). Sephiroth at @snowbanshee, Alucard at @porcelaincadaver, Genesis at @firxga and Chaos (!) at @ask-chaos-incarnate. There’s also Rem at @axgmented and potentially Reno / Cloud if the threads ever are resumed one day. Shipping with Vincent is not easy, I’m afriad (hell, interaction with him isn’t usually easy) and I’m not usually fond of jumpstarting things into shippy memes and stuff - I need to know the other character and get a good feel of how they’ll interact.
DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?:
No. It’s not a requirement at all and I like to see things moving that way if they happen to do so, although I love shipping myself. But if it feels forced, then chances are I’ll go meh. :(
HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?:
I do love it, but I pick the WORSE muses for it, haha. Because while I like doing it, I won’t go for it if it doesn’t make sense for the muse. Oddly enough, I do like the idea of developing things from a shipping perspective so while this doesn’t necessarily keeps me grounded or interested in a thread, it can be a plus if done right.

Kind of see above? I like it, but my muses are often complex people (Vincent is the WORST, really) so it needs to be well-developed.

It started with the super odd and morally questionable Sephiroth/Vincent and it is likely the winner... But roleplaying Vincent broadened my horizons and I’d like to see some different things.
FINALLY, HOW DOES ONE SHIP WITH YOU?:
Write with me! I’m not opposed to having a background or as established thing to develop from because it does get tiring of doing the ‘hi how are you nice to meet you’ thing after a while, but I need chemistry and to somehow click with the mun first. Even if we are good friends and stuff ooc, I’d still like to have everything nice and coherent between the muses. I’m always open to the possibility, but come discuss it with me. ^__^
