Yoko smiles. She smiles a lot. She smiles through the pain physical from those shoving her for her ratty uniform, mental from mom and dad’s turned gazes when she comes home. And here, now, is no different.
Except this time, she’s bumped into Jotaro Kujo.
The Jotaro Kujo. She’s heard giggles and dreamy sighs from fellow classmates about him, how he’s handsome, tough, stoic. Some boys have talked about avoiding him, not wanting to start a fight with him.
Yoko understands now, being on the ground before him.
He was fine, obviously, he hadn’t even budged, but Yoko was wearing her backup pair of loafers the others were splattered in mud from playful shoves into rain puddles and they were a tad too big, so they naturally maybe somebody tripped her and she made a huge embarrassment of herself in front of... in front of a guy she’d only heard rumors about, had never talked to, not really.
Well, no time like the present, right?
“Wah!” Yoko rose quickly, “Woah, what a fall! Are you okay? Wow, you’re tall! Sorry about that! I shouldn’t assume you’re hurt, look at you!” She barely noticed the pain in her hands from catching herself, and continued to ramble with a smile, like always.

Her eyes dart over his broad figure, doing her best to figure out just how old he was through the very small amount of clues that were presented to her. No matter how tall he was or how angry he looked, she had made up her mind that he was way too young to have those!
