A Small Inconvenience ~ Kohara & Ash

It was a typical trip home on the train and Kohara was laying back in the seat that he had gotten with a stroke of luck. He had his sheet music that he’d composed himself spread out on his lap, and he studied it, though not intensely. He always gathered inspiration from the smallest things,whether it be tunes in his head or a random note that resonated from his piano. Besides, his music side speaking to him more lately than his artistic side.
The musician hadn’t bothered looking at the people around him since he was too stuck in his own world. Then suddenly, the train came to a screeching halt, and if he calculated things right..they were still minutes off from the next stop. Furrowing his eyebrows some, he sat up and glanced out the window, which is what many people were doing in the car.
“I guess the train stopped!” A random man proclaimed out of nowhere, to which someone responded that this would only be temporary. Kohara found himself sighing in exasperation. His day had already been so long and now, this? Stops and interference were not a rarity, but they were oh so inconvenient to him. He had no choice but to pay more attention to his music now, tapping out the beats and imaginary keys he would press on the piano as he waited.

I was having this odd moment of “Is Heaven really there, or is this it?” I thought I’d reach out to you for your opinion.
I don’t think that’s odd at all. Honestly, we can never be too sure of anything. We can only hope. It’s a beautiful thought and very comforting, but it’s still very unknown. We will not be sure until it is our time.

I do. There has to be some kind of reward and sense of peace for all troubles we encounter here on Earth. The thought of there really being a Heaven after we die is very comforting. Why do you ask? Just curious?
