So y’all already know how I feel about the little things so just indulge me one more time. We bought this plant when we came up here. I don’t even know what it’s called, but it was just the drama we needed for our living room. Pleasingly powerful, large pop of green. I was not ready as soon as the year turned for this firework display of a flower stalk that suddenly appeared on the tree and filled the whole house with fragrance. Every time we come home and step inside it’s like stepping into a tropical rainforest. Like fireworks (and youth lol) they don’t last long, but a week to my birthday, big 35, I like to think they started the celebrations early for me, in a way that I wholly appreciate.
