This joint has a great burger menu, and I’m glad I finally made it in for a taste. They offer a burger and beer special for $20 (no fries though), or you can get the burger with fries for $20 (no beer). I went with the Grand Street burger, with American cheese. The third day of my latest trip to New York brought me to Mercado Little Spain (again!) where I finally was able to have a lovely Mediterranean gintonic at BarCelona in addition to some great food at Spanish Diner, including a light and simple fried egg dish. After meeting my husband at Rockefeller Center and doing some shooting and filming there, I walked down to Grand Central, treated myself to a happy hour beer and a mushroom-chestnut soup at Tartinery, and then later on grabbed yet another soup at Onieals because apparently I was really in the mood for soup that day.
