The day usually goes something like this: In the morning, he’s already outside, waiting for her to pop out. He bikes them to school, sometimes grab something from the cafeteria if breakfast is still hot, and sit at their usual table before first period. Then, until the fourth class, they’re reunited right before lunch and even if they’re not supposed to sit near one another, it usually doesn’t stop them anyway. The bell rings, lunch ensues, and Ryuji’s got them both lunch, depending on what day it is. If it’s Monday, he’s got them both homemade bento and if it’s Thursday, they’re probably chowing down on all the curry pan and melon pan in the cafeteria.
(Okay, so that’s mostly Ryuji, but still.)
Then, they’re separated for two more classes until finally, school’s out. Of course, the day doesn’t end there for these two. They walk towards the gym, both going to their respective sports teams to practice--but fortunately for him, track always ends early since he has yet to find someone to beat his time. Finally, he waits for her to finish, just as he always does. He bikes her home, they get dinner sometimes, and the day repeats.
Ryuji, of course, wouldn’t have had it any other way. On this particular evening, he’s chugged about most of his sports water, waiting outside the gymnasium for gymnastics to finish. He’s texting, because of course he is, and when he feels her presence, he slides his phone into his pants and looks to her with a grin.
“Done already Zakuro? Here, got your jacket just in case it gets chilly later. We still on for ramen for dinner? Or did we say yakiniku...” He mumbles more to hiimself, wondering what they were going to eat later tonight.
