SILENTLY    ,             SLOWLY    ,             IT    GESTURES    .             the    gentle    creak    of    trees    in    the    wind    emanates    from    its    gangly    wrists    as    it    moves    ,             as    if    the    bone    itself    were    made    of    bark    .             the    movement    is    almost    comically    slow    ,             but    the    urgency    of    it    is    unmistakable    .             SOMETHING    ,             SOMETHING    ABOUT    THE    GESTURE    ALONE    BEGS    IT    BE    FOLLOWED    .             as    if    a    voice    ,             or    several    ,             or    a    thousand    ,             were    to    say    ,             ' come    hither    .
