There are signs that this increase is about to start, but it’s not all good news. The National Association of Home Builders have published their newest edition of the Housing Trends Report, which probes the market sentiment of potential homebuyers. It shows that in the final quarter of 2019, for the fifth time in a row, there was a year-on-year decline in the proportion of adult Americans who plan to buy in the coming year. The fourth quarter report relays that a mere 11% of American adults declared their wish to buy a home within a year, which is a 2% decline on the 13% reported in 2018. However, in spite of this percentage slipping down, there’s plenty to cheer us up in this report.
