our new jam (and first jam as SGF) is a journey. it starts off as a muscular and unhinged UKG-inspired pop song, implodes into an ambient series of sighs and swells, and builds to a Caribou-by-way-of-Aja drum solo climax. it’s so exciting to try to get closer to a specific vibe and sound and still have final products that take surprising left turns.
