Only Nightmares
I’ve been slipping on the footage of my son, So I am reminding myself on here to take more videos and photos of him and with him.
I will say that it’s sometimes tough to pull out and open up my camera phone while I’m in the middle of a suplex or mid-air leg-drop. But, I can surely pull it out while we’re skateboard-cruising or just strolling the neighborhood looking for cool things to uncover.
Patience isn’t taught by telling a child to: “Be patient!” It is taught by actually being or becoming a patient person with them and everyone around in every situation that occurs around you. I am reminidng myself to continue learning it (patience) in order to be able to continue displaying it for him in real life, progressively.
I would hope that more parents see that leading by example is the only way we can make sure our kids do anything specific we want them to.
I calculate so many calculations per minute, per day that all of this can sometimes become overwhelming, but if a dream was so easy to achieve, Sooner or later, we’d all just be having only nightmares.
