"Auntie Kyoko-channnnnnn!"
Unlikely Company - A musician and a Mage
It was nearing the end of Spring, almost summer, class was in full swing, and weather was good, this made lots of people very happy. Class had ended for the day, and Mio was eager to head up to the club room to begin practicing a new song she just wrote, and see how it sounded. She was unable to practice at home often because the noise bothered her family. Mio went up to the club despite today not being an official club day, she wanted the ability to practice and make revisions in peace.
When she got in she immediately got to work after brewing up a cup of tea, courtesy of Mugi. Once she sat down to look at her lyrics she felt an immense pain, not a headache, something much worse than a migraine or fever, it hurt so bad she couldn't even stand up, she fell forward, hitting her head on the table, and then sliding onto the ground, seconds later a mark appeared on her neck. The room began to spin and twist and contort until she was sure she was going insane. She could hear the door open, but didn't have the strength to roll over and look, she choked out a pitiful "help me..." before she fainted.

"Hey!
—What do ya think you’re doin’ going through my—-“
A sharp gasp ended the red head’s words as she looked at what the other was holding. Kyouko had thought it to be hidden well enough, though now she knew she had been wrong. Bright red decorated her cheeks as she looked away.
"What the hell.
—-I can explain, really, I can!”
Although she hadn't seen such a device before, she was absolutely certain of just what it was after sensing Kyouko's mind and seeing her reaction. It only brought about an equal amount of red and she'd instantly dropped the item where it was. How filthy. Not even gloves were enough of a barrier from her and that thing.
"I don't want to hear about your nightly habits. You should dispose of them properly. "
Because, hiding it on the top drawer of the bedside table was clearly not the best place to hide such an intimate toy.
Tapping of closed-toe shoes echo in the space, the crisp atmosphere yielding and pristine --an almost perfect day for a walk outside. Flutter of birds flap their wings across the sky, the freedom of such ability reinforcing the latter's needs of her own freedom. Intaking a breath, Homura held it in before releasing gently.
Yes, freedom, she mused, freedom from this eternal Hell.
Witnessing of death of her friends, there was no doubt that it scarred her emotional being, tearing at her innocence countless times. Her goal --changed from selfishness-- was to protect and save everyone from their fates.
Her included.
Red strands painted the girl's features, accompanied by white porcelain skin, threaded with a characteristic smile. The familiar form stood before her, the arcade a pleasing site for her disposition.
"My apologies --am I late?" Homura asks, knowing that they have planned this meeting beforehand. She just hopes it's enough to gain Kyouko's trust, or at least, a step towards their cooperation against Walpurgisnacht.
