why do you think tlj was bad? i'm honestly curious because i am of the complete opposite mind. is it because of the implied romantic relationship between rey/ben being more... /explicit/ than tfa or for another reason? (there were things i didn't like about too, but overall i think it's my favorite sw movie.) i really like your blog so i'm genuinely curious.

on the discussion of loss, luke barely mourns han & rose forgets her sister after a min.

apparently it steals a scene & dialog from return of the jedi but !! idk for sure.

finn’s story didnt rlly…..have a plot and it was p uninteresting for me. it added nothing to the story. but honestly,,, nothing rlly happened overall anyway ASDFGHHG. he was pushed on a side quest purely so rian didnt have to give him character development.

many things were done just to keep the plot moving which is pretty bad writing. hux didn’t attack the fleet even tho he’s done so many times. even tho that dude in the prison could escape all along, he coincidentally didnt so he met finn & rose. etc etc.

they completely changed poe’s & rey’s character just to fit into plot ideas. let’s not forget luke!! he’s practically unrecognizable and mark admitted himself he wasn’t keen on it. oh,,,, and yoda. he wanted the jedi to end.

half the film was just rey training. vvv long.

rey literally jumped into a small capsule to go the enemy base.

some bits were rlly cheesy? & unnessecary? e.g the iron being the ship & half the training. jokes too. some really broke the atmosphere etc the beginning scene with hux.

the thing w/ yoda was rlly random & honestly the cgi was awful asdfgh.

rian johnson thought finn, a man raised in a violent and oppressive environment of who he risked his life to flee, failed to understand how a rich criminal casino is bad. in fact he thinks it’s amazing.

kylo is extremely emotionally abusive to rey. like !! okay, he’s a character, but the film tries to make us like it.

if there was a map to luke, then someone would’ve known where he was, because luke wouldnt have made it if he didnt wish to be found.

luke’s death was extremely random and lazily done. it’s awful esp for ppl who are big fans of the character for years.

characters were introduced just to be killed off. snoke especially? he was built up and turned out to be nothing. also ; phasma, holdo, luke.

we randomly see leia, assumed to have little force training, float the heck out of space & defying death just to be in a coma. how did she do it if she was unconscious i. the skywalkers are strong but not immortal

i’m tired of relationships forming after a day of knowing each other (rose & finn)

kylo ren is hinted to get redemption while all the heroes ppl look up to live a miserable life.

rose & finn saved the horses but not the slave children

we finally get an asian woman character and she’s poorly written. she’s added to seperate finn & poe & to verbally/physically abuse finn

hONESTLY i prob missed a lot ,,, all the points i agree with are basically also found on the anti tlj tag !! i dont explain things v well
