You may be sick of political posts. I know I am. But friends, I am convicted to share for a few reasons:
-I am horrified at the violence, division, injustice, and discrimination the US embodies today. I'm appalled by the lack of integrity, empathy, and maturity by the man currently in office. I'm heartbroken at the 200,000 lives needlessly lost due to negligence from our government. And I'm scared for the future of this nation if Trump were to be elected again.
*I believe politics are personal.*
-It's personal when policies impact your ability to live a full, healthy life (i.e., inability to afford Healthcare, racism, unjust policing, mass shootings). 🏥 🚑
-It's personal when politics impact your ability to live safely and free of violence, discrimination, and hatred. 🗽
-It's personal when politics impact your ability to find adequate housing and get help after you put your life on the line for this country (veterans, first responders). 👮 🚔
-it's personal when politics prevent you from marrying who you love.❤️🧡💛💚
No candidate is perfect. But Biden has a solid, detailed plan that better aligns with my personal & Christian values than what Trump has done and wants to do. Biden's vision for America gives me hope. You can find more details about his proposed plans at his website. https://joebiden.com/joes-vision/
With the media being so biased, it's up to us to do our own research. It is not only our privilege, but also our duty, to vote. Do your research & go vote. Vote smart. Vote with your conscience. Vote with the facts.
(this obviously doesn't include all the reasons I'm AGAINST Trump.... Which are SO many reasons).
