Fire in Lightning

It was what she prayed to be her last battle with her stalker, her opposite. They had gone at such speeds they were in and out of the glowing blue tunnel with glimpses of the past, present, and future. Though honestly, she was more on the defensive, fleeing from him, fearing capture.
She knew what he wanted from her - to own and possess her. He had come from his time in the future, killed her mother, framed her father, altering the timeline in the process.
In a moment where she had been knocked out of the tunnel, she had felt a flare of pain. When she came to a stumbling halt, Carrie found herself with an arrow, far more primitive than anything Ollie used, protruding from her thigh. She staggered over to a fallen tree, sitting on it and preparing to pull it from her leg. After a moment preparing herself for the pain, she saw movement - it wasn’t Eobard, however. Looking over, she saw what had to be a native of this time and place, his powerful, towering form clad in primitive leather and fur garments--and holding a bow in his hand.
A hunter?
The pain mingled with her exhaustion and she was barely been aware of the hunter that had just shot her - his words foreign, that deep voice garbled and sounding hollow and distant in her pain and panic---
---because right then, with that familiar boom of the Speed Force, Eobard was there and Carrie was fighting and fleeing once more.
The shaft of the arrow disintegrated in the battle and just barely she won, as Eobard tumbled from the tunnel and did not reappear. The wound had healed over and Carrie knew she’d have to endure the arrowhead being cut out of her with no painkillers when she had returned to her own time, what seemed mere moments after she had left.
Weakened from the battle and her vision dimming with darkness encroaching, she stumbled forward, barely able to slur out about the arrowhead in her leg to the shadowy figure that was waiting for her Batman? as she lost consciousness...
